Another day, another doll!
I am so happy! I got the Monster High Transforming bag today! I really wanted to hold off buying it until it hit stores, but I was too impatient. Last Thursday, I ordered it from Amazon.com because I wanted to use it as a purse for a trip I'm taking at the end of this week. So, here is a little review of the bag as well as some pics of the new Moxie Girlz Head Gamez I picked up while at KMart today.
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the bag. It's made of a durable, water resistant fabric that should be good for the long haul. Nice attention to detail. The instruction sheet was tucked into the 3rd pouch and the 3 pouches are all seperate. I was mistaken for thinking the second one was only as deep as to where the green zipper ends, it actually extends all the way down. The inside is plain white in case you were wondering. Adjustable stap with thick plastic clamps to hold it in place. I was very curious to see it in purse mode and I discovered something else I wasn't aware of
While the promo pics show it with the spiderweb and logo facing out, you can also turn it this way with the characters' faces! Sweet! The only thing is that the images of Clawdeen and Lagoona are no longer visible. The little dangly charms are held on by silver jump hoops and could probably be removed with a pair of pliers. I might take one off so I can add the keychain part of my Draculaura freakey ring and mirror. Anyway, I would advise any MH fans who want to show off their school spirits to grab this bag.
As for the Moxies, well the Monet I mentioned in the last post got taken back to the store. I just couldn't warm up to her outfit or hair. This proved to be a good decision, because shortly after, I found the Head Gamez Moxies.
Sophina was the obvious choice because while I liked Ida, I really did not want another Avery and Lexa. Having the option of 2 new characters and the nicer fashion just made more sense to me, especially since I have another one of those bodies to put the other head on.
This Monet appears to have straight hair that doesn't look out of control. Amberly's looks like it could pose a problem, but I'll see when I de-box. If it's too much, she'll get a cut 'n style.
That's all for now, but I'd like to make one more post before I go on vacation about the Winx Stella I cutomized. Not a major makeover, still just changed the details that I wanted to.
EEE! I'm so excited about my trip because not only do I get a great vacation, I get to go to a toy show as well! Looking forward to see if anything good turns up...
